Handweaved on the island of Bali with Ata straw sourced from villages on Lombok and is strong and durable. The reed is smoked over coconut husks as part of its drying process which leaves a natural smokey scent which will eventually disappear over usage. Once the process is complete, bags are dyed over a 6 day period to give them the black colour.
Note: Naturally handcrafted goods can differ per piece and as all of our woven bags are handmade some minor variations in design, size and colours may occur. Meaning you have a one off piece that is not like any others, we love that kind of exclusivity and hope you do too!
